Pricing
We can arrange things in various ways:
-
Fractional - a fixed rate for an agreed number of days each month. This makes sense for coaching and advisory work, and I can offer heavy discount on my normal day rate because it gives me predictability.
-
Project - an agreed rate for specific deliverables. This is great for well-defined projects, but doesn't work as well when we're trying to break new ground (because it may be hard to tell in advance how long things will take or exactly what the outcome will look like).
-
Day (or hourly) rate - as you need it. This gives you a lot of flexibility, and can be a good way to work initially as we get to know each other. You can ask for more time as you need it, and ramp things down with little notice.
