The Short Version
Healthyself is a private journal. We can't read your journal entries because we never receive them. Your data stays on your phone, unless you enable cloud AI services or syncing (e.g. with Dropbox).

Where Your Data Goes
Your journal stays on your device:

Voice recordings and transcripts: Stored locally on your phone

API keys (if you provide them): Stored securely on your phone
Optional services you control:

Your API keys: When you use OpenAI or Anthropic, your data goes directly from your phone to their services. We never see it.

Dropbox sync: If you connect Dropbox, your journal syncs to YOUR Dropbox account, not ours.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have rights regarding your personal data. However, since we don't collect any personal data, these rights are automatically fulfilled:

Right to access: You already have all your data on your device

Right to deletion: Delete the app (and optional Dropbox folder in
Dropbox/Apps/) to remove all local data -
Right to portability: Your data is already portable via Dropbox export

Right to correction: Edit your entries directly in the app
Children
Healthyself is rated 12+ due to potential medical/mental health content in the questions. We don't knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Since we don't have your contact details, check back occasionally if you're interested.
